Losing my home in a flood wasn't just a before-and-after moment. It's when I stopped waiting for things to go right to feel good and started training for it instead.

Like learning any sport: I showed up, did the work, and met great people doing the same. I don't always get it right. But every day, rain or shine, I choose positivity.
